Burkes Beach

Burkes Beach is a nice place to catch a reprieve from the large crowds while soaking up the sun or riding some waves. Unlike most of the beaches at Hilton Head that are known for small waves, Burkes Beach offers the occasional larger wave for those interested in short boarding. 

Burkes Beach is located next to Chaplin Community Park, so you can go for a full day and enjoy tennis, a playground, basketball, hiking trails and more. 

BURKES BEACH ACCESS

Burkes Beach can be accessed off of William Hilton Parkway, at 60 Burkes Beach Road. There is meter parking in this area and outdoor showers to rinse off in.
