POOL DIMENSIONS: 28' x 12'

POOL HEAT: The pool can be heated for an additional $500/week. Pool heat must be added to your reservation at least 30 days prior to arrival or on the day of the booking, last minute requests may or may not be available and are subject to a service fee. We do not heat the pool from Memorial Day- Labor Day*
NOTE: We cannot guarantee pool heat when air temps are below 60 degrees.
NOTE: We do not provide Beach Towels or Equipment.

CAR PASSES: Palmetto Dunes Car Passes are $30/ week per vehicle, $50 per vehicle for reservations 8-15 days and $60 per vehicle for 15+ days.

FREE TRANSPORTATION: Palmetto Dunes Buggy is a FREE on demand and door to door shuttle to the beach and Shelter Cove Marina, Shops, and Restaurants. This Shuttle runs from April through September.

CANCELLATION POLICY: See rental agreement for more information or contact Vacation Homes of Hilton Head with any questions. If you are booking on a third party site such as VRBO or Expedia, you are subject to Vacation Homes of Hilton Head's cancellation policy. NOTE: Guests without travel insurance will not receive a refund or reimbursement for weather, hurricanes, mandatory and/ or voluntary evacuations, pandemics, etc. Please contact us for questions regarding coverage and to purchase a protection plan. Travel Insurance must be paid full upon purchase.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: To secure a reservation, we require a 50% deposit upfront and the balance payment due thirty days prior to arrival via *E-Check (*domestic accounts only) or Visa, Master, Discover or American Card.Photo copies of both the reservation holder's Drivers License and Credit Card will be required.

Lovely home - everything was clean and in working order. We had a small issue with some broken glass on the backyard due to a previous storm, but it was handled promptly and completely. Well definitely book with your company again - thank you!

This home was all it said it would be! Great spaces. Plenty of day light. Beautiful location. Well stocked kitchen and very clean. They were always prompt to respond to any questions and were so helpful with ideas.

My son, daughter-in-law, 4 young adult grandchildren under 21, their dog and I had a wonderful time! We rode bikes or took the Dune buggy to the beach everyday. We used the pool and hot tub morning, noon and night! We enjoyed watching the critters In the lagoon. The house was beautiful and spotless and all 4 bedrooms had their own bath. It was very roomy with many sitting, eating areas and nooks. The kitchen was gourmet and fully equipped! We were able to find everything we needed for all the meals my daughter-in-law cooked! We actually liked the beach at the closest beach access better than the beach at the Dune House. It was less crowded and more beautiful! If we could have rented beach chairs there instead of Dune House we would have. Overall, 49 Off Shore exceeded our expectations!!

Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood . Plenty of space for our party of 7 adults , 8 mo old and dog. Only negatives were : pool deck is in need of a good power washing and there was no outside access to garage which was inconvenient

My wife and I had our three sons and their wives meet at this location for a family who is close but living around the country. This location meet the needs we had. Each family had their own room and bathroom (not all actually attached). But having our own space, but having great connecting space for everyone to gather. Recommend getting bikes for the beach experience, otherwise it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach. Great home, great location (away from the busyness of the park it is in) and very spacious.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 49 Off Shore. Great accommodations and well-equipped. Having an electric hot tub that you don't have to pay extra to heat is a nice bonus.

Only complaint was thermostat in upstairs master would not allow you to set temp below 70. Not a big deal unless you are like me and like the room to be cool for sleep.

This house is fantastic and the pics do not do it justice. 2 large and spacious master suites plus 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook. The pool was heated and ready for us upon arrival, the hot tub was set as well. The location is great, Palmetto Dunes cannot be beat. The management company was easy to work with and quickly responded to the one issue we had.

We have rented many homes over the years, this was our second rental during COVID. This home was by far the cleanest upon our arrival; we were very appreciative of the extra time and effort put into preparing it before we arrived. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is great!

We had a great time. House was clean, large enough for everyone to have some space and do work or school without being on top of each other. The heated pool and the hot tub were wonderful and the dock off the back made fir some great turtle watching. We rode our bikes everywhere to the bean, tennis center, and general store. I would definitely come back again.

Great house for an extended family - enough rooms for everyone to spread out and find their own space, but also to gather together over a meal. The kitchen, aside from a smallish oven, was the best stocked kitchen of any vacation home we've ever stayed in. The pool was properly heated as was the hot tub - very important for a chilly November stay. A bike ride away from the beach - about ten minutes, and also about five to sometimes ten minutes drive out of the Palmetto Dunes resort depending on traffic. Great place and we would be happy to return to this home.

We had a great time during our Fall Break in this home. The house was really roomy, clean, updated - pics are not updated yet for the paint & updates done -new paint and furnishings. The new updates were a nice surprise when we arrived. We loved biking to the Dunes House and throughout the neighborhood. A lot of great golf too.

We loved staying at 49 Off Shore. The kitchen was well equipped and some of the areas have been updated. Would definitely rent here again. Unfortunately because of the Coronavirus we had to head home early which was very disappointing.

Many charming things about the house but some things not in the best condition and required having maintenance come in a few times. Also disappointing that the bridge to the beach was closed while there requiring us to drive to another location. Nice setting, lovely colors in rooms.

We are sorry that there were issues with the bridge, Palmetto Dunes is going into a massive over haul on the roads and pedestrian walk ways to make it more enjoyable for future guests. Our stay was June 29-July 6, a BUSY week! The process was terrible to get our parking passes as there was only one person at check-in who was experienced, and the other was in training requiring so much help from the experienced person. We had a better experience other years when parking passes were sent to us in advance to avoid this. Upon arrival at the home to check in after the required 4 PM time, the housekeepers were still in the house hurrying to clean and they left us to enjoy our vacation house but it was not very clean. We were told that new ownership effective on our check in day changed all the previous internet and cable connections and this caused the housekeeping delay. We had to call the management company to help us get everything up and operational. The first day of our vacation was not a good experience, but we loved the rest of the week and the space in the house suited our family really well. The kitchen needs to be updated and most of the bathrooms also. Refrigerator needs replacement immediately! Property management helped us every time we had issues.

Plenty of room. The pool and hot tub were a favorite. The house is on a quiet street and the beach is an easy 5 minute bike ride away. Highly recommend!

We had a great time here in HHI. The home is located in Palmetto Dunes and there is tons to do in the resort itself bike rentals, restaurants, golf courses and more. The staff at Vacation Homes of Hilton Head was also great to work with.

We like to stay in Palmetto Dunes so we were so happy to rent 49 Off Shore for our family vacation. The house is great, with a big pool and private hot tub. We would recommend to others.

The House was beautiful and accommodated us well. The house needs some updating with kitchen pots and pans. Sleeps 12 and no big pots etc. The clothes dryer either needs a general check-up or replaced

We arrived Saturday and had a small issue. We were so pleased with the quick response to our question! And the rental is a very good fit for our family!!

The house was perfect for our party of six. The accommodations were clean and as described on the website. The rental company was easy to work with and we are thoroughly enjoying our stay. This property came with an Xplorie card which was a bonus. Was able to play a couple of complimentary rounds of golf and received a free weeklong bike rental. Would definitely stay here again.

49 Off Shore is a beautiful, comfortable home. The accommodations for our family of 9 were great! I will say though, the home could use a good deep cleaning (toilet bases dirty, cobwebs in corners and ceilings, baseboards, etc.). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will consider staying here again.

We were very happy with this rental. It was clean and well equipped. Sleeping accomodations were perfect for 3 families with plenty of privacy.

Pool, hot tub and grill provided a relaxing outdoor environment.

We loved our stay at 49 Offshore weve been staying here for a few months and feel right at home. We have everything that we need.
