30 Moonshell Road

Everything at this property was as described and even better! It was exceptionally clean; getting in and settled was seamless; the towels, bedding, and the fully-equipped kitchen made it feel like home instantly. The location to the ocean was perfect and the ability to get to grocery stores; eateries; shopping was much more than expected. Too cold for the pool in February, yet the screened in porch and the accessibility to the grill made it very homey. We give this property a 5 out of 5.

Third time renting through vacation rentals of Hilton head. The best experience working with them. This property was perfect. It had a seperate living space for my son and his family. House was immaculate. Pool and spa fantastic. It was heated perfectly. Pool guy came to clean the pine straw. If they had a skimmer that wasn’t broken you can easily keep that pool clean. Location to beach was great. Kids walked to mini golf. Husbands played golf. I took long bike rides on the beach. So don’t forget to take advantage of all the free activities. See you next year.

We loved our week here in Hilton Head and the house was the perfect size for two families. The house was very clean and the walk to the beach was so short! We had plenty of room and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need. I would high recommend a stay here on Moonshell ROad!

Located within walking distance to beach, but also convenient to shopping. Quiet residential area. Pool is in the sun all day! The home was clean and spacious with 2 kitchens. Screened-in porch was great for kids. House is pet friendly and back yard is fenced. We had a great time!

we have rented this property several times. It is a comfortable house with good amenities and a great location. Gave 4 stars for maintenance because the pool had not been cleaned. Pine needles clogged the filter inlet which we cleaned out. Finally called VHHH which responded quickly to our request. The pool is surrounded by pine trees which drop needles continuously.

House is very nice with a few issues that could be addressed. The door handle in the master bath falls off, and the drain is clogged so we had to use a different shower (Looking at past reviews, this has been the case for a few months now). Even though we had to pay extra for the spa, it doesn't work and wouldn't heat up which was very disappointing. The house itself is really nice on the inside though, feels comfortable, and is located perfectly- a short walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes from anywhere you'd like to go.

We followed up with you to let you know and didn't hear that there were any further issues. We had a great week. The home was spotless as advertised and also a short walk to the beach. I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't available in the house as there was plenty of room for our group of 9. The only areas that needed attention were the spa (gas not on so the hot tub could not be warmed) and the grounds themselves needed some attention (grass cut, trimmed shrubs, and step pads replaced). We had a wonderful week.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at 30 Moonshell. The home itself was very clean. We traveled with another family and the setup of having a second separate living area and kitchen was perfect for us. The home was very clean and even had the little details that made traveling with kids easier (step stools for kids to reach bathroom sinks, baby gates, blackout curtains in kids rooms, etc). The management company was very responsive to any questions/needs we had and addressed them immediately. The proximity to the beach was a block away and was so easy to walk to. We enjoyed the private access and less crowded beaches. The Folly Fields area is in a central location and close to shopping and restaurants but also tucked inside a quiet neighborhood. It is also only 2 blocks from a walking/running/biking trail. The backyard is completely private with an outdoor shower which made it super easy to clean the sand off of the kids upon returning from the beach. The pool was large and got a lot of use during our stay. The connected hot tub and the waterfall were nice touches. We also enjoyed the large screened-in porch - for evening adult drinks, a lunch break from the pool, and an extra common space. Overall, we had a great week and were thrilled with the house! This is the second time staying in the Folly Fields area and would most definitely come back to 30 Moonshell.

A well appointed recently constructed home with 4 bedrooms, two full kitchens, nice veranda, garden and a conveniently heated pool and spa. Very close to beach (1 block to walkway 106A). Overall we were very satisfied with rental. Requested management to clean pool after rainstorm and they were responsive. Minor comments: outdoor grill could use a replacement.

Overall a great house in a great location but the backyard needs a little work. Grass was spotty and yard stayed wet and muddy most of the week. The pool is great as well as the hot tub and we spent a fair amount of time on the large screened in porch. Very nice home that we have enjoyed twice now...

Everything was a perfect as it could possibly be. The home was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. It was described accurately and the location was ideal.
Everyone we spoke to at Vacation Homes of Hilton Head was friendly, extremely helpful, and always in direct communication with us and always promptly answered questions we had. We never had to wait for responses to our questions or requests. We appreciate how well everything turned out. We stayed primarily at the home due to Covid restrictions and accessed the beach only for walks. The rental company we used to rent our bikes were equally wonderful to work with. The bikes were delivered as promised, in good working condition and they happily made adjustments as our needs changed. This was the most pleasant experience we have enjoyed and will absolutely do this again. Thank you to everyone for making this the best vacation!

We rented this property several years ago. After other rentals in Folly Field, we came back because it is a very nice property. We like the Folly Field area because it is quiet and close to the beach and limited to the FF guests.

We stayed on this rental for a quick post-corona getaway and will definitely rent again! Everything was perfect — pool, 2quick blocks to a non crowded beach, pet friendly fenced yard, great bedroom set up and spacious “extra” family room for our college kids. Only one suggestion — could install blinds in the East facing bedrooms for those that like a darkened room at sunrise.

We were very comfortable here and immediately felt at home. The extra kitchen/living room was like a little apartment, so could be extremely convenient for some families. Well equipped in almost every way.....though no basics in food at all....I.e. sugar for coffee or even coffee for one pot, so take that with you.
Walk to beach seemed a bit longer than we thought and quite bumpy over the tunes....tricky for anyone with mobility problems. Also, the entrances are up a level...one flight of stairs.
All in all, we did love the spot....nice and quiet, very safe, pleasant neighbours. Once a bit warmer, the pool area would be very nice.

The house is very well laid out and our dogs loved the fenced yard. They had more fun in the yard than on the beach. The house is in a great, quiet location and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach.

I am sort of sorry to review this property, because I would selfishly like to keep this gem all to myself. Clean, spacious and very pet friendly make this home especially desirable. The pool was large, and the kitchen was well equipped. The home was well maintained and very comfortable. We would like to be regulars!

Great location, quite area which is just what I wanted.
Dog friendly and they waived the fee for service dogs was was a huge plus.
Loved the dog bowl, beds and poop bags provided.
Loved the screened in porch for which is were I had l dinner each night.
Loved the walking to the beach each day.

What a beautiful home in Folly Field! The set up in the home with 2 kitchens was ideal for our trip, as we had 3 couples and 2 dogs. Lots of room in this home, we never felt crowded. Gorgeous inside and out, with an artists flair for décor. The pool and hot tub were great to relax in after a day at the beach. We enjoyed many family meals on the screened in porch and enjoyed hearing the ocean every evening. Private fenced-in back yard was ideal for our pups to enjoy their vacation too! The very short walk to the beach made this location ideal. We will definitely be returning next year!

This vacation home has it all. Well equipped, clean and nicely furnished. It is just a short walk to the beach and the pool in the backyard was wonderful. You can hear the ocean from the screened in back porch too. Loved that we could bring our pets with us. The only issue we had was the wi-if kept going out other than that it was perfect. We will be back!

Since or children have been grown we haven't had many chances to all get together and go somewhere together. It was so nice to find a place to accommodate us all. This home is on one floor and has two separate living areas which worked out perfectly with our18 month old granddaughter. Everything was very clean and decorated beautifully. We really appreciated the artwork and the color selection. The pool was very inviting and it was a short walk to the beach. Twin bedrooms were a little smal but adequate. Bedding was very nice and pretty. Would highly recommend staying there
